Jesus,
In this still quiet moment.
In this still quiet moment.
All other thoughts just melt away.
I rest for a moment, in the light of your sun.
Watching it's gentle rays, light up my feet,
as I put them up, stealing a moment to simply say,
"Jesus, I love you, I thank you for the gift of this day."

Rebekah, Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. i love these thoughts. One of my favorite scriptural phrases is, "Be still and know that I am God." It is so easy to get into an emotional upheaval and forget that our Heavenly Father is watching over us and will help us with out burdens.
