Wow that was a really sweet post! My Dad died when my oldest was 14 months old, and I was worried that he wouldn't remember my dad. Then a few months ago, at 2.5yo he found a pic of my dad and brought it to me to tell me he found a pic of Baba (what he calls his Grandpa). Maybe our kids won't remember their faces and voices, but I think a part of them will always remember their love.
Thanks Katherine!Yes, this is my eldest daughter in this post, shes turning 7next week, my youngest daughter is 3yrs, and was a baby, when Nanna died. She has recently asked who Nanna is, and asked for a photo, saying,"I didnt know Nanna, I dont remember her, can I see a picca? Coz shes still my Nannie!' It struck my heart...and a little part of me felt a smile inside as I thought that her Nannie would have liked to have heard those words! x
