Raw (e) theme : What is beautiful to you?

What is beautiful to me?
Hmm, I had to think about this one...
the challenge set over @
Sailor & Company this week.

Take a photo of something that is beautiful to you.
There are many, many things that I could have chosen,
but
above all...
What is most beautiful to me,
is the gift
of
L O V E.
To be in love,
&
to be loved.

To be loved by the KING of KINGS,
to be
given a husband,
a family,
friends
to share this great gift with.

Here is my photo.
that expresses that.

Do it all for the glory of God.

Psalm 108:5

5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,

and let your glory be over all the earth.

I have been so deeply encouraged and blessed recently.
I have thoroughly enjoyed writing by blog entries.
I have met many God centered people.
These last few weeks,
I have had many Christ centered conversations
with women over @ blog frog
Many women have shared their lives,
concerns,
fears,
doubts
and
experiences
of
knowing
GOD.

It has brought such Joy to my heart to have met
God is working in her heart.
She is asking questions,
seeking counsel,
Go and check out her blog,
encourage her,
pray for her.
Bless her!!

When I first started blogging,
a few years ago,
I never imagined the way it would go.
I started just using it as a
journal.
Now I feel God pulling at my heart,
to write,
share,
be transparent,
for you,
the reader,
to
hear
the
WONDERS
of knowing
ALMIGHTY GOD!

I am
OVERWHELMED
with
Joy
I am
TOUCHED
by
your love,
and I wish to encourage you,
Use your blog,
to
bring
GLORY
to GOD!
In all that you do,
Mothers,
workers,
Men,
women,
tips on life,
whatever you feel you have to share,
do it for him!

1 Corinthians 10:31

31So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

I have prayed that God will use
my words,
my writings,
My sharing here,
to Glorify him.
I am not here to build a huge fan base,
blog for my promotion,
but just so wanting,
to share
J E S U S
and
All He Has Done,
for me!

I have now added a facebook page,
So, for all who wish to follow on facebook,
please come and share there to!

Snippets of our saturday evening.

Have a good evening.

Who is holding your heart?

Everywhere I look, I keep seeing hearts!
It may be a stone, shaped like a heart on my path,
a puddle in the road, a leaf, a piece of jewelry,
a picture, a postcard,
My eyes can't help but notice them.

This morning,
I was praying,
"Lord, pierce my heart!
Lord, cause my face to shine with the light of you,
Lord, grip me with your love,
squeeze this heart of mine,
to know your touch,
your voice,
let it beat in time with yours.
Let it
F E E L
what you feel,
Let it
H U R T
like yours does,
for the
L O S T,
for the
B R O K E N,
for those who need
a touch
from
Y O U."

I poured out my hearts desires to him,
I longed for his touch,
his words
once again.

I felt his spirit gently speak and minister to me.
"Give me everything,
Give me more,
Give me
A LL
of you
M Y
child"

This is my prayer, but it is a daily walk,
an hourly walk.
It is a relationship.
I am living,
I am learning,
I am failing,
I am running,
I am searching,
I am seeking,
I am loving...

Lord, do you hold all of my heart?
If not, please teach me how to give over the parts that I still hold.
My broken parts.
My aching parts.
My fearful parts.

Hold my heart Lord,
Let me put my trust in you with every corner of myself.
Nothing hidden,
nothing kept,
every part.

Psalm 84:5
'You bless all those who depend
 on you for their strength
and all those, who set their hearts on, and who deeply desire
   to visit your temple.'

Homekeeping, tips and spring cleaning..

I have been busy spring cleaning today,
sorting out the girls room firstly.
It was becoming obvious to me that they are both quite
grown up now!
They have outgrown a lot of their toys.
They play a lot of role play games,
pretending to be
M U M,
pretending to be
D O C T O R S,
We have a lot of toys that simply don't cater
for their imaginations now.

So, I cleared out all of those and bagged them up,
for the attic.

I then made little areas in their rooms,
which encouraged their
playtime.

One area, which was in place, but needed a bit of
T L C
was their dressing table.

I sorted it out a bit,
hung the mirror and the flower lamp.
Ready to play.

Next,
the dressing up!
Now, this used to have some order, but we have so many
'hand me downs'
It became a little overwhelming.
So I  hung and sorted that area to.

Its all hidden away in this wardrobe, so I don't have to see it!
LOL.

Next books, tidied and sorted...

Then this corner was made into a little
home-corner.
Here are all the things tat
'Little Mumma's'
will want to use.

Ellie watched me from her ball tent,

admiring the new,
organized layout!
:0)

On another note, Its Jessies birthday soon.

I am throwing an

ALICE IN WONDERLAND TEA PARTY

for her and her friends.

I wanted a fairy cake stand for the table,

It arrived today..

I was very impressed with its cuteness,

but slightly alarmed at the note attached!

It seemed strange, considering it was advertised as a

Cake stand!

But, I think it also makes a lovely fruit bowl.

Lastly, I never realized this,
Call me silly,
or perhaps you didn't either.
We have always grown strawberries,
but we buy them as little shoots from
B&Q
or such like..
But, a friend of mine came for tea and we ate
strawberries,
she left the heads on a plate and said
if you place them in soil,
face down,
they grow..
Didn't know that!

So, I did, here they are,
my babies!

Well thats my ramblings, from my
 home keeping,
Spring cleaning,
and
tips!

Have a lovely day.
Its raining here.

Talk at the cherry tree.

This evening, I was filled with thoughts,
filled with questions,
filled with wonderings of
"What if Lord..."

I have had a very emotionally tiring week,
things have pulled at my heart,
my emotions,
my time,
my energies.

I have found it difficult to find,
our secret place.
I longed,
I yearned,
for something.

A word,
a touch,
a breath,
a whisper.

Nothing came.

Tonight, I put some time aside,
to bath,
relax,
and soak up a little
quiet time.

I opened my heart
I cried out,
"God, in this time,
this moment,
please let it just be us.
I need to feel your peace,
still my heart."

I saw him,
Jesus,
standing in a calm,
grass filled field.
He stretched out his hand toward mine,
he smiled,
"Come walk with me"
he said.

I love the sound of his voice.
It is so gentle and yet so firm,
all in one.

I followed him.
We stood under a cherry tree,
in full blossom,
pink and pretty.
He playfully hung from one of its branches.
"What fruit will this tree yield?"
He asked.

"Cherries! -Of course! "
I replied,
It seemed a silly question to me!

He smiled, and pulled on a single branch.
"and if I bend this branch out of shape,
what fruit will this tree produce?"

Reluctantly, I replied,
"Cherries.."

"And if I break this branch here,
if I cause it to snap,
what fruit will this tree produce?"

"Cherries"

He let go of the branches,
that had bent and broken under his grip.
He stepped back and looked up at the huge tree.
Admiring its branches, stretched out far in every direction.
Its trunk was thick & Firm.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit,

A bruised reed I will not break.
You worry too much about your failings,
if you could have done better,
said something else,
prevented their pain,
I tell you,
do not worry! I am the trunk to your tree,
I am the firm foundation on which you stand.
In me, you can do all things!

He took a hold of my heart in his hands and I watched it light,
under a furnace of fire.
'I hold your heart'
he said.
'It is pure,
because I have made it pure.'

'The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold,
but  I the Lord try the hearts of man.'

'Now, go remain in me,
remain in my peace,
go in my strength,
go and live in my
F R E E D O M.
For your branches will outstretch and reach the hearts of many,
with
M Y   L O V E .'

'Thank-you, my Lord, for you voice, that calms my soul.
Thank-you, for our talk at the cherry tree.'

Be Still

Jesus,

In this still quiet moment.

All other thoughts just melt away.

I rest for a moment, in the light of your sun.

Watching it's gentle rays, light up my feet,

as I put them up, stealing a moment to simply say,

"Jesus, I love you, I thank you for the gift of this day."
