Let go and let God

Today I am using someone else's words to describe exactly what God has been saying to me,
It is taken from
a motivational page named

We all go through disappointments, setbacks and things that we don’t understand. Maybe you prayed for a loved one, but they didn’t get well. Or maybe you worked hard for a promotion, but you didn’t get it. You stood in faith for a relationship, but it didn’t work out. One of the best things you can do is release it. Let it go. Don’t dwell on it anymore. If you go around wondering why things didn’t work out, all that’s going to do is lead to bitterness, resentment and self-pity. Before long, you’ll be blaming others, blaming yourself, or even God. You may not have understood what happened. It may not have been fair. But when you release it, it’s an act of your faith. You’re saying, “God, I trust You. I know You’re in control. And even though it didn’t work out my way, You said, ‘All things are going to work together for my good.’ So I believe You still have something good in my future.”

There is power in letting go of the past and the frustration of trying to figure everything out. When you release your questions, you are saying, “God, You are in control. I trust You.” And when you put your hope in God, that’s when He can heal your heart and lead you forward into His path of blessing.

I am learning this one at the moment, It is hard to step back, and just watch God take over!
Yet is necessary.
It is Faith.
Be blessed,
Stretch and grow a little more today.

When you're low.

Honestly, things have been tough recently.
I'm used to doing things,
 cleaning the house,
cooking the meals,
washing the clothes,
bathing the girls,
bedtime routine,
studying for my degree,
getting out...

Not recently!

Being pregnant has knocked me sidewards,
well, horizontal anyway!

zzzzzzzzz

I am so tired, nauseous, dizzy,
breathless and plain out of shape for most of the above!

My Husband has to work,
I have a friend help me by doing the morning school run.
When James is home, he's having to do a lot of my work,
watch the girls,
sometimes prepare meals,
plus He has other work he needs to do in the evening.
We are both shattered,
for different reasons!

I don't know if you remember the Crocus
picture that God gave me,
well I kept thinking on it.
One night I just got so fed up,
I had been crying,
tired of not being able to do anything,
I was angry,
I felt that God had mislead me.
" I cant cope! You must have been wrong!"

James came in,
also exhausted,
frustrated with all the extra things.
But we sat and spoke.
"Its not the end of the world, that we are behind on the laundry,
Its not the end of the world, if the kids are a bit out of routine,
Its not the end of the world, that I don't get to cook every night...
God has prompted us to walk in this direction,
to have another baby,
So it is what we are doing,
and in his strength we will get through!

I felt a silly hormonal woman..
which I am ( !!)
but sometimes,
We worry about the silly things,
rather than just seeing it all as a season,
one in which we need to rest.
Enjoy the fact we are a family,
and we are looking forward to having another addition.

The next morning-things were lighter,
brighter,
easier,
peaceful.

I wrote this song today,
I am putting it to music,
which is another thing I haven't done in ages!

Storm

Why did you take your eyes off of me?
why did you make them focus on the storm?
Don't you know that I'm your Father?
And I take, great delight in caring for you.

Wont you lean into me.
Wont you lean into me.
Wont you take the weight off your own feet,
and lean again on me.

You started out well, so full of faith,
You placed your feet out upon the waters.
You never once broke your gaze with my eyes,
You stood, You walked on water.

Why did you take your eyes off of me?
Why did you make them focus on the storm?
Don't you know that I'm your Father?
And i take, great delight in caring for you.

Wont you lean into me.
Wont you lean into me.
Wont you take the weight off your own feet,
and lean again on me.

Puzzled..

Do you ever feel like
you are only seeing
part
of the picture?

1 Corinthians 13:12

12 Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

This is how I am feeling recently.
Like I am holding a few pieces
of a
puzzle
in my hand.
Looking at them,
studying them,
but not seeing the
bigger picture.

James 1:5

5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

I keep seeing a
part
of the
bigger picture.
My
heart
identifies
with it having
Gods
fingerprint
on
it,
Yet,
I cant see it all..

I keep seeing
his
rainbow
But not just
one
rainbow,
but
two

I see the words
Double portion
written in the skies,
I sense
his
blessing
yet,
I am unsure
of what.

I hear his
voice
calling,
'Take a leap with me,
jump
into the unknown.
trust
my hand,
holds yours."

Hebrews 11

By Faith We Understand
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

So,
until I get handed
more pieces
of my
lifes
puzzle,
I will
remain,
at
His
Feet
with
my ears
listening,
my heart
praying,
my
lips
praising,
my
eyes
focused.

I
encourage
you to,
If you feel
this way,
hang on,
keep praying,
keep asking,
keep seeking,
keep
faithful.
He will
  answer.
