Hello All!

We are all getting ready for easter holidays here.

How is everyone?

Back from Wales.

We travelled back from Wales last night.

We had a lovely little break,

catching up with Family,

meeting new nephew

Eli-Israel.

Seeing James little sister Saphia - Nicole:

We had a lovely time,

Hope you are all enjoying the

100th Post!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Easter!!

I am in

Wales

at the moment,

Just wanted to

fill you in on the winner of my give away..

Megan

with her post about

treasure

here

Also,  I received an email to tell me that I won the red letter

give away over at

ordinaryinspirations

I was so excited!

Well,

its my 100th post,

So I wanted to do something different.

But first....

a little run down

of our

recent activities.

We made resurrection rolls.

Taking one marshmallow..

(Jesus)

and

anoint him with oil,

and spices.

Wrapping him up,

and placing him in the tomb.

We then place each roll,

in the oven,

cook until golden brown and ...

He has gone!!

 He has risen!!

The marshmallow is gone!

The girls loved this!

We also made a garden,

with crosses,

tomb stones and cress.

( which grows up to show new life.)

This was to remind us what Jesus did for us.

We read scriptures together,

took communion

and

prayed.

We also had a birthday party,

Alice in Wonderland was her theme.

They had a lovely time,

sipping tea,

eating cake...

James enjoying a baba cuddle from Ella.

Then after all this.....

We tidied up,

hopped in the car,

and travelled to Wales...

To spend Easter day,

with

Family.

After a morning

in church,

remembering

Jesus

and the true reason

for

Easter,

we headed out into the

sunshine..

Here they are,

hunting

for

eggs.

Phewph!!

Its been busy,

but

oh so good!

So...

Here is my 100th post idea.

winner on friday!

Approaching Easter,

what family crafts,

books,

recipes will you be using,

to teach your children about

the

Easter story?

I'd love to hear them.

I have a few things lined up,

including

a jesus in the tomb baking idea,

found here.

      Making a mini garden,
with a stone and a cross in it,

    to represent the

  cross

        and the

   tomb.

There are also some lovely

lamb

crafts,

that concentrate on the

lamb of God.

We will be eating some of these!

"Hot God buns"

{as Ellie likes to call them!}

We will be reading this,

and celebrating the fact that

He is Risen!

Songs and Poems

Jesus Loves Me

Jesus loves me, this I know
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak, but He is strong.
Yes. Jesus loves me.
Yes. Jesus loves me.
Yes. Jesus loves me.
The Bible tells me so!

Jesus Died For All the Children
(From: everythingpreschool.com)
(Tune: 'Jesus Loves the Little Children')

Jesus died for all the children.
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus died for all the children of the world.

Jesus Saved Me
(Tune: 'Jesus Loves Me')
(By M. Hubbard)

Jesus saved me, this I know.
For the Bible tells me so.
Nailed to the cross for my own sins,
died, and buried, and raised again!
Yes, Jesus saved me!
Yes, Jesus saved me.
Yes, Jesus saved me.
He saved me from my sins.

How will you celebrate

Easter

this year?

Let us know!
