Can of christianity please...

I had a vision/picture last night of liquid gold being poured out on earth from heaven, people loved this liquid and drank freely of it- those who were thirsty.

Then people began to package the pure liquid, labeling it in tin cans, like '7up', 'coke', 'tango' etc. As time went on, these labels became more about traditional and unique styles, causing division with others who drank of a differing can.
Some only drank on sundays, in a particular way, with a certain food, others didn't even like the drink, they just liked the social element of the preferred group.

Then there were those, who didn't chose a label to drink from, but found the source of the liquid for themselves! They were hooked up to the mainline and became intoxicated with heavenly revelations and to other groups looked crazy!

But God said to me, 'There will come a day when I will strip away all the labels and reveal the source of this liquid gold. It matters not which 'can' you drink from, what matters to me is your connection with me, divine love. I AM the source, I AM life, I AM the drink that will satisfy, and give you life. 'All who are thirsty, shall thirst no more, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.' John 4.14

Create your own labels if you will... But God can not be put in a can, a box, a religion and be held there. His love COVERS the earth. His power, presence and light fill every crevice. Jesus made it possible for everyone to engage with the Father/Divine and how we connect to him is a personal matter, the important thing remains, God longs for you to KNOW him and feel his touch in your life..He is always searching for ways to get your attention, are your ears open and your eyes seeing?

Oh how he loves us!

I once had a vision, where I was in the universe, being gently pulled along by something. Drawn magnetically, it seemed, to something in the vast universe. Soon I came to a stop, I found myself hovering, suspended in space. As I looked down at my feet, I saw darkness and space, to my left and right, stars, and darkness everywhere. Something was holding me carefully. I then saw infront of me. An enormous face!

I knew at once it was the face of God. As I looked into his huge, penetrative eyes, I saw the universe within his pupils, then I had this awareness that I was in his eyes also. This caused a strange sensation to fill my being. I felt his overwhelming love fill me, I felt like I was a part of Him, and that he contained me within his gaze. We were intimately connected. Surrounded and filled with this indescribable love, I came to the conclusion that traditions and religions have at times mis represented God. Standing face to face, I detected no hatred, anger or wrath. All I could feel was immense love. I was the apple of his eye, and he wanted me to know it! ♥

Oh how he loves us!

Arise, my darling

My beloved spoke and said to me,
“Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, come with me.
See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming(B) vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.”

God’s greatest work-YOU!

God’s greatest work is not the Grand Canyon or Mount Kilimanjaro—it’s us! The knitting of God brought about a creation that is unique in every way. Yet one of the hardest things for us to admit is that God’s work (us) is wonderful. We are surrounded by the commentary of a broken world that tells us that we are worthless and we have believed it. But the Psalmist reminds us to praise our Creator, for focusing upon God brings us back to the original script for our lives. ( verse of the day)

Great division....gone.

There became a great division between myself and the mountain. A raging torrent stood between us. I would drown and die if I tried to get there by myself. I was overcome with grief. But you became the water, you calmed the raging waves and carried me, in your arms to the mountains heights. Here I dwell safely, in pastures of freedom and enlightenment. This is where I began, and this is where I shall end. Because of your perfect love, I am now free. ♥

Daughters

Jessie-Jane, Ellie-Faith & Giorgia-Evie.
My daughters.

I LOVE being a mummy.
It comes with all sorts of trials and tough times,
but its all I wanted to be when I was growing up myself.
I would have the realistic baby doll toy,
known as 'Peppo' and I would dress her,
feed her, carry her with me everywhere.
Holding Giorgia and nursing her reminds me of those childhood days,
dreaming, pretending to be a mummy.
I watch my daughters now, doing the same.
Practicing to be a mumma.
Both with baby dolls and their little sister Giorgia.
Jessie confidently carries her around our home on her hip, rocks her to sleep,
helps feed and change.
I see the joy in their eyes as they greet her in the morning.
Ellies big squeeze hugs that practically squash Giorgia!
"I loooooove her!'
Its so lovely.
I read a devotion today.

"May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace." Psalm 144:12 (NLT)

May God grant me the wisdom and grace to mother my beautiful girls to know him and know who they are IN him.

be blessed!

Breathe it in...

This post will be a mixture of recent thoughts,
events,
findings and sharing.
This time of year is so beautiful,
I just went for a walk across the green on my door step,
the trees swaying in the wind,
the orange leaves falling,
in their multitudes, covering the floor like a thick blanket of
soft colour.
I was sitting inside and I had my window open and the breeze was calling me to come and walk!
So pretty!

"He walks where I walk,
He stands where I stand,
He understands.
He knows my frailties,
shared my humanities,
tempted in every way,
yet without sin..
God with us,
so close to us,
God with us Emmanuel!"

Everything I looked at,
displayed his beauty and His glory.
He is beautiful.
So close to us.
Creation speaks of His presence.

I found myself praying for friends,
family,
my unborn child,
my daughters..
that they might
 KNOW
of Gods goodness,
his LOVE,
in
abundance!
Here is Jessie,
learning the verse,
"I have come that you might have life to the FULL!"
My prayer for sure....

Heres my other little sausage,
on stage,
singing how great it is to have a friend like Jesus,
My prayer is that she will always feel that!

I was going to post on other things,
but I think this sums up how I feel right now...
breathing in His goodness.
Be blessed.

Treasure chests

I was drifting off to sleep a few nights ago,
as I  drifted between sleep and wake,
I found Jesus waiting for me in a dream like vision.
He held my hand and took the lead.
I found myself in a darkened place,
that looked like an old wooden cellar,
with 2 inter joining  rooms.
We were standing facing a wall,
dark and laden with treasure chests,
on shelves made of wood.
These chests were old,
tatty looking,
covered in cobwebs.

I knew I was in heaven,
somewhere,
being shown something of importance.
I knew that these chests,
represented peoples lives.
I questioned,
"Are these humble lives of your saints?"

"No, these are not."
Jesus replied.
"Here, things are a little different.
Whoever finds his life ( on earth) will lose it,
and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."
I looked closely at the small chests,
as I did my eyes had the ability to see within
each chest.
I saw a young man,
late 30's roughly,
I saw tall city buildings,
i heard the noise of busy traffic below,
I watched him,
in his grey tailored suit,
clutch at his hair and
pull his head toward his chest.
I heard his thoughts race,
his stress levels rise,
the spin and pull,
tug and push,
I saw money,
swimming around in his mind,
it was causing him great anguish.
I saw his friends,
speak about his early,
stress related death.

I looked at Jesus,
sadness filled my mind.
He remained motionless,
acknowledging my mental pause,
then he lifted his chin a little,
motioning me to look into another box.
My eyes fell upon a box,
not far from the one I had just studied,
It pulled me in,
like a cinematic screen..
This time a woman,
also not that old,
A wild crazy red head,
tight bouncy curls,
red lipstick,
I watched her throw her head back in laughter.
Around her,
circling like a whirlwind,
were expensive items,
handbags,
shoes,
expensive trips,
beauty therapy,
cocktail parties,
laughter,
city lights,
lavish living,
selfishness,
but when the end came,
there was only silence.
The laughter ceased,
the items dropped to the floor
like they were made of lead.
A loud crash.
Then nothing.

My head turned quickly,
to face Jesus.
There was something terribly unnerving,
about the content of these boxes.
He turned and walked into the adjoining
room.
In here were two opposing walls.
On the left, also in the dark,
were shelves of neatly stored medium sized boxes.
These boxes looked less damaged and
slightly more presentable.
But Jesus was not looking at those.
His attentions were turned to the shelves,
on the right hand side of the room.

These chests were lined up,
on the shelves, but there was such energy within them.
There was a strange sense of community amongst them,
that I could not quite decipher.
I knew at once, that these were
the lives of people who had lived for Jesus.
I heard children,
mothers,
families,
communities.
I saw nations,
living as one,
mixed races,
eating from the same table,
Women laughing,
with
JOY.
Serving one another
in
LOVE.

"God...
I whispered,
feeling the awe of his presence fill that room.
Which chest am I?"

Which Chest are you?

Must I?

Beloved
I slept but my heart was awake.
       Listen! My lover is knocking:
"Open to me, my sister, my darling,
       my dove, my flawless one.
My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night."

I have taken off my robe—
must I put it on again?
       I have washed my feet—
       must I soil them again?

 My lover thrust his hand through the latch-opening;
my heart began to pound for him.

I arose to open for my lover,
and my hands dripped with myrrh,
       my fingers with flowing myrrh,
on the handles of the lock.

  I opened for my lover,
but my lover had left; he was gone.
My heart sank at his departure.
I looked for him but did not find him.
I called him but he did not answer.

{Song of Solomon 5:2-6}

I was reading this portion of scripture this morning,
thinking about the fruits of the spirit,
how we must aim to improve our characters,
in Gods strength,
to become more holy and pleasing to him.
It was a string of thoughts,
that led me to the song of solomon,
here,

Beloved
"Awake, north wind, and come, south wind!
Blow on my garden,
that its fragrance may spread abroad.
Let my lover come into his garden and taste its choice fruits."

This part of scripture,
is found in the chapter directly before the chapter above.
See here,
how the beloved,
invites her lover into his garden,
to taste its choice fruits,
yet above,
she hears her lover coming to the door and
cries out to him,

"I have taken off my robe—
must I put it on again? "

{emphasis mine}

It made me wonder, what happened in between
those two chapters to cause such a change of heart?
One minute the beloved is inviting
her lover to taste of all the choice fruits,
next,
she cant be bothered to get to door,
she has just washed her feet..
taken off her robe,
.......

When she realized that in fact, she did long to see him,
he had gone...

Now, Song of Solomon is full of symbolism,
Christ's love for us,
his bride,
his church.

Yet,
this nudged my heart,
how are we like this so often....

One minute we are love struck for our saviour,
delving into his word,
every given moment,
praying constantly,
singing praises,
loving on him,
then all too easily,
we get distracted,
pulled away by other things.

until we find ourselves saying,

"Must I?"

"Must I go and sit and read?
Must I seek him, right now?"
{I am just busy doing this....and that}

Lets not become the One who says,
"Must I?"
Lets be the One who say,
"Come lord!
Meet me here,
in your garden! I cant wait to see you!"

Get your desperation back!

I love you- FULL STOP.

Loving One Another
7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

1 John 4: 7-10

God speaks to me through every day things,
Circumstances, events, words,
 day to day, ordinary times.

It has been a busy month for our Family,
James has been busy working,
training, and in his spare time, having to try and fix our car.
{Which has been broken for a long time.}
Also our washing machine was playing up,
so I needed him to look at that,
He was getting tired from it all
and things were getting stressful.

One problem, followed another...
We prayed, it didn't seem to improve things!
I kept thinking, there must be something God
is teaching us in all of this!
Our characters were being squashed..
like grapes and not everything that leaked out was pleasant!
We both had moments
of frustrations,
impatience,
short tempers...
but also times of
recognizing,
The need of Gods peace,
trusting in Him,
waiting,
being patient...

I think I learnt that I have things I personally need to improve on.
I mean, God provided a way for the children to get to school.
Each day, we had offers,
lending cars etc,
but it was like the daily bread!
I never knew from one day to the next how
It was going to work..
But,
God was faithful in his provision.
Friend were helpful!

When we reached the glorious light,
at the end of a long, dark,
mechanical failing tunnel, we were so relieved!
James came in late,
after dropping the car at the M.O.T garage,
He slumped into bed,
tired words escaping his mouth,
"I've put the rubbish out ....."

It was in that moment,
that God spoke to me...
Despite the frustrations,
the annoyances of car problems,
mechanical failings,
I was thankful for my husband!
I love him.

As his words rung in my ear,
"I've put the rubbish out.."
I knew, this wasn't the reason I loved him.
I don't love him, for all the things he does to help us
as a family.
Sure those things help,
but I got thinking,
If anything were to happen to him,
If I lost him,
I seriously doubt my words at his
funeral would be,
" I miss him putting the rubbish out,
and fixing the car and the washing machine...
His work will be deeply mourned and missed in our hearts!"

No!!
I will miss HIM!
because I love HIM!
{ Not all that he does...}
Thats just an added bonus ;0)

In the same way,
God spoke to my heart,
" I love YOU,
Not for all you DO,
but for who you are.....
to me.."

In the same way that I don't love my husband, for
all he does for me,
I love him,
for who he is to me!
He loves and cares for us,
thats WHY he does the things he does.
Its the heart of him,
that makes me love him.

Its the same for your heavenly Father,
and his love for you.

Selah.
