Oh how he loves us!

I once had a vision, where I was in the universe, being gently pulled along by something. Drawn magnetically, it seemed, to something in the vast universe. Soon I came to a stop, I found myself hovering, suspended in space. As I looked down at my feet, I saw darkness and space, to my left and right, stars, and darkness everywhere. Something was holding me carefully. I then saw infront of me. An enormous face!

I knew at once it was the face of God. As I looked into his huge, penetrative eyes, I saw the universe within his pupils, then I had this awareness that I was in his eyes also. This caused a strange sensation to fill my being. I felt his overwhelming love fill me, I felt like I was a part of Him, and that he contained me within his gaze. We were intimately connected. Surrounded and filled with this indescribable love, I came to the conclusion that traditions and religions have at times mis represented God. Standing face to face, I detected no hatred, anger or wrath. All I could feel was immense love. I was the apple of his eye, and he wanted me to know it! ♥

Universe v God

The universe is often a word to describe God, The power, the substance, the vastness of this being who we can not comprehend with human minds. However it says that God even created the universe! So, even the largest example that we can compare God to is not big enough! 

'Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years. 15 Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth.” And that is what happened. 16 God made two great lights—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, 18 to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.'

Think of the God who had the ability to think of and create the universe, then think of this, 'We are created in His image...' We have amazing potential! If we can just see...If we can embrace God in us and see who we have been created to look like. His breath in our lungs, His spirit in our hearts, His mind, the christ centred mind, We can start to see like God, be like God, not full of pride and arrogance, but in our original form, as we should be. Full of love and peace and wisdom and light. Is this not something we want to see? ♥

Do you ever wonder how vast God is? does he go beyond religion? Whete Does He have a beginning or an end? Where do YOU fit in it all? How can you know him more? I wrote this tonight as I felt his voice speak.... Rebekah.

Explore ideas that exist outside of knowledge.
Climb over the walls, adventure beyond the constructed perimeters.
I live beyond, outside, within and all.
Try and lose me? You will fail.
Try to get lost? I will find.
You are safe, you are held, suspended in me.
Hovering in universal wonders, stars and constellations.
You were, you are, you always will be... Hidden in me.
