Reflection time.

This little girl,
pictured here,
is turning
7 years old soon!
I cant believe it!
In some ways,
it seems like
yesterday,
that the little 6lb 2oz baby,
came home with us,
and I held her in my arms,
just
gazing
at her,
for hours on end!
She is pictured her,
age 3,
next to her favorite flowers,
the daffodil.
They come out around her
birthday,
and she loves it when they
appear!
She makes up songs about them!!

This little girl,
who is still 3yrs,
decided this morning,
that before cleaning
her
teeth,
she would first clean
Skulley's
teeth!

This was very amusing to her!

Both of these girls,
have always enjoyed
expressing their own sense
of
style!

{Above} Ellie this morning....

Jessie and her
rock star look!
(this is her favorite top, as it carries
all christian symbols on it..
Jesus has the
Key
to her
heart.
He died on the
cross.
He made the
 stars,
in the heavens,
and he gave
New life,
like a
caterpillar
into a
butterfly!

I really love being a mum,
to these two
precious girls!
( Ellie collecting 'unkerconks' )

Finding worms...

hugging trees?!

But being a Mum,
has its many challenges,
choices,
decisions...

and,
if i have any hope of getting it right,
training them,
equipping them,
loving them,
teaching them,

I must be diligent
in these things..

The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.
So let us put aside the deeds of darkness,
and put on the armor of light.
Romans 13:12

and..

Psalm 54:2
Hear my
prayer, O God;
listen to the words of my mouth.

Staying close to Him....

Have a blessed day.

Skip breakfast- I ate yesterday!

Exodus 16:4
4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I’m going to rain down food from heaven for you. Each day the people can go out and pick up as much food as they need for that day. I will test them in this to see whether or not they will follow my instructions.

In the secret place, this is where you find me.
I will cover you with kisses and wash away your tears.
I will strengthen you.
I will speak with you.
Will you meet me here, in our secret place?

It seems to be a common theme amongst the blogs I am reading at the moment.
Mothers, wives, women, Men are all saying very similar things.
'God is calling me to be closer to him.'
It is true for me and encouraging my heart to hear that I am not alone in this.
God is calling his bride.
I had a picture once of Jesus whispering.
I could not hear what he was saying and I asked him to speak louder.
He continued to whisper.
This caused me to step closer to him,
to bend my ear and put it close to his mouth.
I heard him speak then.
"I just wanted you close to me"

I went to God in prayer yesterday, I was going to meditate on the words he had given me and the scriptures I had read the previous day. I heard him say to me, 'No, that was bread for yesterday. I have fresh bread for you today. Come again to me and hear fresh words from my lips and let me open up different scriptures to you for today!'
I  was immediately reminded of the story in Exodus, where God rained down fresh manna for his people, daily bread. If they took too much, to save for the following day, it would go off and taste sour.

He is our daily bread, He is our bread of life for our soul, spirit and mind.
Just because I ate yesterday, does not mean I am not hungry today!
Don't skip breakfast, get a fresh taste of him today.
